Marble

We use exotic, antique marbles, which represent the best stones used throughout the Roman empire.  Today you will find each and every one of our marbles in the Vatican, the Pantheon, and many other important monuments built by the Romans.  It was said that Giallo Antico Marble or Chemtou was so prized by the Romans, that the parts of the blocks that were rejected and tossed into the river were guarded by day and night so that the common people could not have access to this Roman "gold."  Learn more about our antique marbles in Ricci's book "Delle Pietre Antiche."
